LIGHTING SYSTEM
8 Turn the main switch to on.
8 Start the engine.
8 Turn the dimmer switch to low beam or
high beam.
8 Check for voltage (12V) on the lead at bulb
socket connectors.

This circuit is not faulty.

8 Connect the pocket tester (DC20V) to the
bulb socket coupler.
Tester (+) lead→
Blue terminal 1
Tester (-) lead→
Black terminal 2
8 Turn the main switch to on.
8 Start the engine.
8 Check the voltage (12V) of the leads on
the bulb socket connector.
MEETS
SPECIFICATION
This circuit is not faulty.

OUT OF SPECIFICATION
The wiring circuit from the main switch to
bulb socket connector is faulty. Repair.
NO CONTINUITY
Replace the bulb and/or bulb socket.
OUT OF SPECIFICATION
The wiring circuit from main switch to bulb
socket is faulty. Repair.
