MC-7270-MP-T Series BIOS Setup

Step 2: Prepare the Upgrade File
You must use the BIOS upgrade installation file to upgrade the BIOS. Contact Moxa’s technical department for
assistance.
1. Get the BIOS upgrade installation file. The file name should have following format: MC72xxSxx.exe (xx
refers to version numbers).
2. Copy the file to the Bootable USB Disk.
Step 3: Run the upgrade program on the MC-7270-MP-T Computer
1. Reboot the computer; press F12 while booting up to go to the Boot Manager
2. Select USB Disk as the first boot source, and then press Enter to continue.
3. When the computer finishes booting up, a DOS screen will appear. Go to the directory where the upgrade
file is located. For example, if the upgrade file is stored in the MC_7270 folder, type cd MC_7270.
C:\cd MC_7270
4. Run the upgrade program by typing MC7270S03.exe. The upgrade filename may vary depending on the
version.
C:\ MC_7270>MC7270S01.exe
5. The upgrade program will execute automatically. Please wait patiently for the procedure to finish.
