Clatronic HSM 3086 HE [25/42] Battery disposal

Note: The lamp (9) does not give any indication of the charge

level of the battery. The charging lamp on the drive unit lights up

when there is contact with the mains adapter.

Beard Shaving

• Remove the cutting length comb (4). Press the I switch (1)

to turn on the device. Run the shearing blade across the

surface to be cut with the blade lying ﬂ at against it to remove

the remaining hair.

• Press the O switch (1) to turn the device off.

Beard trimming and cutting / Cutting Hair

• In order to cut hair or trim beards, attach the cutting length

comb (4) and select the cutting length.

• Lock the selected cutting length of the beard trimmer (2) in

place with the release button (3). Press the I switch (1) to

turn the device on. Begin with the longest cutting length and

shorten your beard or the hair on your head step-by-step to

the desired length.

• Press the O switch (1) to turn the device off.

Contour cutting and neck shaving

• Remove the cutting length comb (4) and press the I switch

(1).

• The long hair cutter (8) makes it possible to follow the beard

contours precisely even in places that are difﬁ cult to access

and to cleanly shave the hairline in the area of the neck.

• Press the O switch (1) to turn the device off.

Haring, e.g. on the legs, bikini zone, under the armpits

• With this device it is possible to remove unwanted hair, e.g.

on the legs or under the armpits.

• We recommend that you have a bath or shower (for

example) after removing the hair, as otherwise the hairs are

too soft to be removed. The corresponding parts of the body

should be deodorised after shaving, if necessary.

• With this device you can also remove hair from your back,

for example. If necessary, attach the extension handle

(12). In order to make handling easier, angle the handle by

pressing the PUSH buttons together and locking in place.

This will produce an angle of approximately 90°. Press the

PUSH buttons again to return the handle to the straight

position.

Note: Depending on the quantity of cut hair it is advisable to

thoroughly clean the device from time to time as described

below in „Cleaning“!

Important: Do not use the device for more than 25 minutes.

Allow the equipment to cool down for 10 minutes, before using

it again.

Cleaning

The regular cleaning and maintenance of the machine will

guarantee optimal results and a long life.

• Switch the device off with the O/I on/off switch and pull out

the plug.

• Use only a slightly damp and soft cloth to clean the machi-

ne.

• After use remove each time all hair left on the machine with

the supplied brush.

• Remove the cutting length comb and the shaving head

to blow out the ﬁ ne particles of hair or remove with the

cleaning brush. Pull the shaving head (5) off carefully.

• Caution, do not touch the shaving foil or the blades of the

shaving head with your ﬁ ngers!

• After using the machine apply each time 1-2 drops of an

acid-free oil (special oil (17)) on the cutting head.

• Hang the device up by the suspension eye.

NiCd:

Battery Disposal

The device contains rechargeable nickel-cadmium batteries.

Used batteries and accumulators (rechargeable batteries)

should not be disposed of in domestic waste.

These can be returned to a collection point for old batteries

or special refuse. Contact your local authority for further

information.
