Description of signals
1a MIG welding
1b MMA electrode welding
1c TIG welding
2a Fixed on: the selected program is displayed.
Flashing: the type of material, protection gas and wire diameter is being
selected.
3a Welding current (Amp). Active in synergistic and manual MIG, MMA, TIG
processes.
3b Wire speed (m/min). Active in synergistic and manual MIG processes.
3c Material thickness (mm). Active in synergistic MIG processes.
4a Welding time / Pause time (sec). Active in MIG spot and stitch welding.
4b Welding voltage (Volt). Active in synergistic and manual MIG processes.
In synergistic mode, if the welding voltage is modied, the other
parameters connected vary as well.
4c Welding voltage adjustment (Volt) (-5-Aut-+5). Active in synergistic MIG
processes. It does not modify the other parameters.
4d Inductance value (-1-Aut-+1). Active in synergistic and manual MIG
processes.
5a On: non-synergistic welding.
Off: synergistic welding.
6a Torch 1 (normal or with wire speed adjustment).
6b Torch 2 (normal or with wire speed adjustment)
6c Spool gun torch.
7a 2-stage welding.
7b 4-stage welding.
7c Spot welding. The welding time must be adjusted.
7d Selection of stitch welding. The welding time and the pause time must be
regulated.
8a Spot welding time adjustment (sec).
8b Pause time adjustment (sec).
8c Hot start MMA adjustment (0 - 100).
8d Arc Force MMA adjustment (0 - 100).
9 Machine running.
10 Presence of voltage in the welding sockets.
11 Keypad blocked (see service functions).
12 It indicates that the machine is operating on an intermediate spot in
between “short arc” welding and “spray arc” welding (globular area). The
pair of values chosen for welding (Amp, Volt) can generate unstable arcs
and sprays.
13 It indicates that the dimensions displayed (Amp, Volt) are those used in
the last welding cycle. The LED is activated at the end of each welding
cycle.
14 Thermal protection active. If the welding service “X” shown on the
technical plate is exceeded, a thermal protector interrupts the work before
the welding machine gets damaged.
15 Wire feed motor overload. The wire feed motor is subjected to excessive
stress. The machine is stopped for 10 seconds (E61 message). It is
recommended to reduce the pressure of the wire feed roller and make
sure that the wire moves well in the torch.

EN Quick guide
Description of controls
After commissioning, switch on the welding machine, open the protection gas
valve and start the adjustments following the order given in the description of
controls.
1) Select the welding process MIG / MMA / TIG LIFT
2) Select the type of material, protection gas and wire diameter
TAB.99
¾ Press “SET” for 3 seconds. The LED 5a must be off.
¾ Set the code of the program corresponding to the type of material and
protection gas (“L” control).
¾ Set the diameter of the welding wire (“R” control).
¾ Press “SET”for3secondstoconrmtheselection. Press “SET” for a
short time to view the combination set.
3) Adjust one of the interdependent parameters
Adjust as preferred: material thickness, welding current, wire speed (Button
3 + “L”), or: welding voltage (Button 4 + “R”).
L In synergistic mode, all welding parameters are connected to each
other to facilitate the setting of the machine.
4)Adjustmentofweldingvoltageandinductancevalue
¾ Adjust the two parameters if required for good welding (Button 4 + “R”).
L The adjustment of the welding voltage (LED 4c) will not cause the other
interdependent parameters to vary.
5) Non-synergistic welding
Press the button 5 (LED 5a on; “no Syn” message).
In “manual” mode, deactivate the interdependence of the parameters: type of
material, protection gas and wire diameter.
L When the machine is in “manual” mode, the selection made in the step (2)
cannot be changed.
Resetting a program
The machine memorizes the changes made to each program.
To get back to the default adjustment press “SET” for 10 seconds (“reset”
message)
