3. Troubleshooting the VC-2402
3.1 Introduction to Troubleshooting
This chapter describes instructions for the VC-2402 system problems. These
procedures may require the presence of technicians at remote VC-2402 system
sites and plus an operator at PC to monitor system alarms by console or EMS
during maintenance.
3.2 Resolving Problems Indicated Through LEDs
This section describes what to do to solve problems indicated by LEDs on the
system front panel.

3.3 Resolving Problems Indicated Through Alarms
Alarms of the system are viewed through CLI commands or Web GUI.
If an alarm indicates a problem, refer to section 3.4 for troubleshooting procedures.
3.4 Procedures for Troubleshooting the VC-2402
When you follow a troubleshooting procedure, start from the rst step of the
procedure. If the rst step does not solvethe problem,proceed tothe next step;
keep going through the steps until the problem is solved. Use the following table to
ndouttheappropriateprocedurefortroubleshootingthelistedproblems.
