(15) Defrosting Operation

(* Heat Pump Model Only)

● At the time of heating, defrosting starts when the outdoor heat exchanger temperature becomes lower than the defrosting

start temperature, and defrosting is cancelled when it becomes higher than the cancelling temperature.

● Change in the outdoor temperature is detected to prevent useless defrosting to change the defrosting start temperature.

1. When the outdoor temperature is at 0° C : defrosting starts at the defrosting start at the defrosting start standard

temperature.

1. For 35 minutes of compressor operation integrating time after the start of operation and after the end of defrosting.

2. For 5 minutes after the start of the compressor.

● The compressor should be stopped to make a switching to lower the switching noise of the 4-way valve.

● Defrosting is cancelled after the lapse of defrosting time of 10 minutes even if the standard temperature is lower than the

defrosting-cancelling temperature.
