After ironing, unplug and allow the
iron to cool. Press the water fill inlet
cover and turn the iron on its heel
and allow the water to drain out.

Match the dots on the label to the
dots on the temperature control .
If there's no label, here's a guide on
which temperature to choose:

Start with clothes needing the lowest
temperature, then work upwards.
(This lowers the risk of burning
something because an iron switched
from 'hot' to 'cool' takes time to
cool down.)

For mixed fibres, eg cotton ●●● and
polyester ●, use the lowest suitable

If in doubt, start with a low
temperature on a part that won't be
seen (eg a shirt tail).

3 Select the desired temperature by
aligning the mark on the body of the
iron with the temperature control.
When the iron reaches this
temperature, the light will go out.
(During ironing, this light will go on
and off as your iron maintains the
right temperature.)

All Models are fitted with an anti-drip
system which will automatically stop
the iron from steaming if variable
steam is selected and the
temperature is too low. During use
the anti drip system may emit a loud
clicking noise, particularly during
heat up or whilst cooling down. This
is normal and indicates that the
system is functioning correctly.
