4-16 Special Features
SPECIFYING SCANNED SETTINGS
1. Place the original face down on the copier glass or face up in the Duplexing
Document Feeder.

OTE: When scanning transparencies, place a blank white page the same size as the
original over the transparency when scanning on the copier glass.
2. Press the Scan key on the copier.
The Scanner Mode screen appears in the Touch Panel.
3. Choose the settings for your scan by touching an option in the Touch Panel.
Select from the settings in the following list. (Default settings are underlined.) After
each selection, touch OK. The Touch Panel will return to the Scanner Mode screen.

- If your site has an operator who controls all printing you may have access to the hold queue only in this case all jobs you send are spooled to the fiery x3e and held until the operator sends them to their next stage of processing 16
