Switching the Routing switcher
IN and OUT Buttons
When the “IN” button is selected, buttons 1-72 will be input buttons.
When the “OUT” button is selected, buttons 1-72 will be output buttons.
In Destination based switching mode:
• The IN button will be GREEN when selected.
• The OUT button will be YELLOW when selected.
• The OUT button will be selected by default (e.g. on power up).
In Source based switching mode:
• The IN button will be YELLOW when selected.
• The OUT button will be GREEN when selected.
• The IN button will be selected by default (e.g. on power up).
Note:
The IN and OUT buttons can never be selected at the same time.
V and A Buttons
V (Video levels) button will enable the Video level(s) to switch.
A (Audio levels) button will enable the Audio level(s) to switch.
In normal operation with at least one video and audio level configured:
• The V button will be on by default.
• The A button will be on by default.
• The V and A buttons will toggle on/off when pressed.
In normal operation with no audio level configured:
• The V button will remain on and will not respond to any selection of this button.
• The A button will remain off and will not respond to any selection of this button.
Destination based Switching
1. Press the “OUT” button. The button will illuminate YELLOW.
2. Select an output. The button will illuminate YELLOW.
3. Select (enable level) to be switched by toggling the “A” and “V” button.- see above
4. Press the “IN” button.
The button will illuminate GREEN.
5. The current input connected will illuminate.
5. Select an input (In auto take mode, the switch will occur immediately.)
6. If auto take mode is not enabled the “Take” button will blink RED- press take to initiate
the switch.
Input button colors:
CYAN to indicate video and audio.
GREEN to indicate video only.
BLUE to indicate audio only.
