14.22 Port Mirroring Setup
Port mirroring allows you to copy an MSC uplink port’s traffic flow to a monitor port so you can
examine the traffic without interfering with the original port’s traffic flow.
Click Switch > Mirror in the navigation panel to display the Mirroring screen. Use this screen to
select a monitor port and specify the traffic flow to be copied to the monitor port.

Low Limit fields.
Temperature Set the maximum and minimum SFP module temperature thresholds in degrees Celsius.
Supply
Voltage
Set the maximum and minimum levels of voltage in volts that can be supplied to the SFP
module.
TX Bias Set the maximum and minimum current in milliamps (mA) that can be supplied to the SFP
module’s Laser Diode Transmitter.
Tx Power Set the maximum and minimum number of micro Watts (uW) of light the SFP module can
transmit.
Rx Power Set the maximum and minimum number of micro Watts (uW) of light the SFP module can
receive from the fiber optic cable.
Apply Click Apply to save the changes in this section to the system’s volatile memory. The system
