3.4 Saving Your Configuration
Click Apply in a configuration screen when you are done modifying the settings in that screen to
save your changes back to the run time memory and to make your changes take effect.
Click Config Save in the navigation panel and then the Save button to save your configuration to
nonvolatile memory. Nonvolatile memory refers to the switch's storage that remains even if the
switch's power is turned off.
Note: Use Config Save when you are done with a configuration session.
If you log out of the Web Configurator without saving configuration changes, a screen displays as
shown. Click Yes to save the changes or click No if you do not want to save the changes. Unsaved
changes are lost when the switch's power is turned off.

3.5 Logging Out of the Web Configurator
Click Logout in a screen to exit the Web Configurator. You have to log in with your password again
after you log out. This is recommended after you finish a management session both for security
reasons and so as you don’t lock out other switch administrators.
