Chapter 22 Static Multicast
VES-1624FT-55A User’s Guide

1~24 These fields display the static multicast group membership status of the xDSL
ports.
“V” displays for members and “-“ displays for non-members.
Click an xDSL port’s status to change it (clicking a “V” changes it to “-“ and vise
versa).
Join All Click Join All to make all of the xDSL ports members of the static multicast
group.
Leave All Click Leave All to remove all of the xDSL ports from the static multicast group.
Delete Click Delete to remove a static multicast group.
Adding new entry
Add
Type a multicast MAC address in the field, and click the Add button to create a
new static multicast entry. Multicast MAC addresses must be
01:00:5E:xx:xx:xx, where x is a “don’t care” value. For example,
01:00:5E:10:10:10 is a valid multicast MAC address.
Clicking Add saves your changes to the IP DSLAM’s volatile memory. The IP
DSLAM loses these changes if it is turned off or loses power, so use the Config
Save link on the navigation panel to save your changes to the non-volatile
memory when you are done configuring.
