Note the following.
• The CPE device’s WAN IP (192.168.10.200 in this example) must be in the same subnet
as the gateway’s IP address (192.168.10.102 in this example).
• The IP DSLAM's management IP address can be any IP address, it doesn't have any
relationship to the WAN IP address or routed gateway IP address.
• The IP DSLAM’s management IP address should not be in the same subnet as the one
defined by the WAN IP address and netmask of the subscriber’s device. It is suggested that
you set the netmask of the subscriber’s WAN IP address to 32 to avoid this problem.
• The IP DSLAM's management IP address should not be in the same subnet range of any
RPVC and RPVC domain. It will make the IP DSLAM confused if the IP DSLAM0
receives a packet with this IP as destination IP.
• The IP DSLAM’s management IP address also should not be in the same subnet as the one
defined by the LAN IP address and netmask of the subscriber’s device. Make sure you
assign the IP addresses properly.
• In general deployment, the computer must set the CPE device’s LAN IP address
(10.10.10.10 in this example) as its default gateway.
• The subnet range of any RPVC and RPVC domain must be unique.
