4. Place a cup on the drip tray.
5. Connect the Espresso Maker to the power
source. Make sure the steam control knob is
set to the O position.
6. Press the power button to turn the unit on.
The power indicator will light up and the
coee indicator ashes. When preheating
is complete, the coee indicator lights up
constantly.
7. Then press the coee button to ll the cup
with hot water. Press the button again to stop
when the cup is full.
8. Place a jug or cup below the steam nozzle
and turn the steam control knob to the max
position. Press the coee button to let the
machine dispense hot water through the
steam nozzle. When the jug is full, press the
coee button again to stop dispensing. Then
turn the Steam Control Knob to the “O
position.
9. Now the Unit is prepared to brew tasty coee.
PRE-HEATING ALL PARTS
For best results, we recommend that you
preheat the machine, including the portalter,
the lter and the cup, before preparing the
coee. In this way, the coee avor cannot be
aected by cold parts.
1. Follow the steps 1-7 from the chapter
“BEFORE FIRST USE”.
2. Then leave the hot water in the cup until
you prepare the espresso. Now all parts are
suciently preheated and ready for perfect
coee enjoyment.
MAKING ESPRESSO
1. Remove the portalter by turning it clockwise
from the “lock to the “unlock” position.
2. Put ground coee with the measuring spoon
into the lter and press it rmly with the
tamper.
Note: You can also prepare espresso coee by
using pads. In this case use the 1-cup pad lter.
3. Put the lled portalter back into the
machine and lock it in place.
4. Pour out the hot water in the cup from
previous preheating and place the empty
heated cup back on the drip tray.
5. At this time, the coee indicator should
already light up constantly, if not, wait till it
does.
6. Then press the coee button and wait until
the cup is lled with the desired amount of
coee. Press the coee button again to stop.
7. After each cup of coee, remove the
portalter and pour out the coee residue.
Rinse the lter under running water.
WARNING: Do not leave the Espresso Maker
unattended while making coee, as you need to
operate manually in some cases! The maximum
brewing time for a cup of coee is 60 seconds.
The water pump will stop automatically after
this time if it is not stopped manually.
MAKING CAPPUCCINO /
FROTHING MILK
You get a cup of cappuccino when you top up a
cup of espresso with frothed milk.
Caution! Whenever using the steam function,
the portalter must be inserted in the machine.
1. First prepare a cup of espresso according to
chapter “MAKING ESPRESSO”
2. When done, press the steam button and wait
until the steam indicator stops ashing and
lights up constantly.
3. Pour about 100 ml of cold milk into a jug for
each cappuccino to be prepared.
Note: When choosing the jug size, it is
recommended to choose a diameter of at least
70 mm, keeping in mind that the volume of milk
increases by approximately two times. Make sure
that the height of the jug is sucient.
4. Insert the steam nozzle about 2 cm into the
milk, then turn the steam control knob slowly
counter-clockwise. Steam will come out from
the steam outlet.
5. Froth the milk by gently moving the jug up
and down in a circle.
6. When the desired milk frothing result is
achieved, turn the steam control knob to the
“O position.
Note: Clean the steam outlet with a damp
sponge as soon as the steam stops coming out,
but be careful not to scald yourself.
7. Pour the frothed milk into the prepared
espresso. Now the cappuccino is ready.
Sweeten to taste and sprinkle with cocoa
powder.
8. Press the power button to turn the unit o.
Note: After using the steam function, the
espresso maker needs to cool down before it
can prepare coee again. If you press the coee
button and the indicator is ashing quickly, the
boiler temperature is too high. In this case you
need to reduce the temperature by releasing
the hot water as mentioned in “HOT WATER
DISPENSING”.

The appliance becomes hot during operation.

Do not remove the portalter while preparing
coee or generating steam.
Always disconnect the appliance from power
after use, before cleaning and in the event of

Do not pull directly on the power cord, rather
pull on the plug to disconnect the appliance
from the power source.

supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance.

BEFORE FIRST USE
To ensure the rst cup of coee tastes excellent,
you should rinse the espresso maker with hot
water as follows:
1. Remove the detachable tank and open the
tank cover to ll it with water. The water level
should not exceed the “MAX” mark in the
tank. Then close the water tank cover and put
the tank back into the unit.
2. Insert the lter (without coee) into the
portalter.
3. Insert the portalter into the machine at
the "unlock" position and turn it counter-
clockwise to the "lock" position to lock it in
place.
