3. Lowest voltage and over-voltage
protection:
If the voltage is below 140 V or over 260 V, the
units will stop working automatically.
4. Constant power protection:
When the supply voltage rises, the output
current will be automatic decreased, the
maximum power increases of no more than
50 W. And when the power supply voltage drops,
the maximum power changes with the voltage
drop down.
OPERATION
1. On/O
After inserting the plug into the socket, a “Beep”
will emit and all the indicators ash one time,
indicating that the appliance is connected to a
power source. The [On/O] LED indicator will
keep ashing. If the glass plate is hot, the display
will show [Hot]. Place a suitable cookware on the
center of the cooking zone. Press the [On/O]
key one time and the display will show [----], the
[On/O] indicator lights up permanently and
the appliance goes to selection mode. Press the
corresponding power select function key to start
operation (see “2. Power Select function”). Stop
the operation and switch o the unit by pressing
[On/O] key once after cooking. The built-in fan
will continue to run for about 15 minutes to cool
the interior of the unit.
2. Power Select function:
Press the [Select] key and the indicator will light
up, display will show [1200] representing that
the default power level is 1200 W. Press [+] and
[-] to set the desired power levels. There are 8
levels in total, including 300 W, 700 W, 1000 W,
1200 W, 1400 W, 1600 W, 1800 W, 2000 W.
3. Timer function:
The cooking time can be set, when the unit is
working. Press the [Timer] key once to access the
timer function, the indicator above the [Timer]
key will light up. Display will ash and show
[0:30]. The time can be adjusted from 1 minute
to 3 hours. Press [+] and [-] to set the desired
time in 1-minute steps. Hold the [+] or [-] key,
to change the time in 10-minutes steps. After
the time has been set, press the [Timer] key
again to conrm or wait until the display stops
ashing. When the timer countdown reaches
0:00, the appliance beeps and goes to standby
automatically. Hold the [Timer] key for about 3
sec to cancel the timer at any time.
4. Child-Lock function:
Press the [Lock] key once to lock functionality of
all buttons, the indicator above the [Lock] key
will light up. Hold the [Lock] key for about 3 sec
to unlock again.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
Important:
Clean the hob after each use. This will prevent
spills from burning onto the ceramic surface.
Do not use detergents intended for dishwashers,
scouring agents, aggressive cleaning agents
such as oven spray or stain remover, abrasive
sponges or high-pressure cleaners / steam jet
cleaners.
Never pour water over the unit, if water gets
inside the unit, it will cause malfunction.
1. Unplug the hob from power after it’s cooled
down suciently.
2. Wipe the ceramic glass surface with a damp
cloth.
3. Rub dry with a clean cloth. Remnants of
cleaning agent must not be left on the
surface.
4. Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dirt from the
air intake and exhaust vent.
5. Thoroughly clean the entire ceramic
glass cooking surface once a week with a
commercially available ceramic glass or
stainless-steel cleaner.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
The safety of electrical appliances from FIRST
Austria complies with the recognized technical
directives and legal regulations for safety.
Nevertheless, you and the other users of the
appliance should observe the following:
Please read these instructions carefully before
using this appliance for the rst time and
keep them for further reference.
This product has not been designed for
any other uses than those specied in this
manual.
Before connecting the appliance to the
power source, check if the voltage indicated
on the appliance corresponds with the
mains voltage in your home. If this is not the
case, contact your dealer and do not use the
appliance.
Place the appliance on a clear, at and heat-
resistant surface. Distance from the wall
should be at least 5 cm. The area above the
appliance should be kept free to allow an
unobstructed air-circulation. Never place the
appliance or power cord on hot surfaces. Nor
should the appliance be placed or operated
in the vicinity of exposed gas ames.
Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a
table or counter. Do not let the cord touch
hot surfaces.
To protect from electrical hazard, do not
immerse this appliance or cordset in any
liquids.
If the appliance or the power cord shows
any signs of damage, do not operate it! Take
the product to an authorized and qualied
service center for inspection or repair.
Do not place ammable material (paper,
cloth, etc.) on or near the appliance.
This device is intended for home use only, do
not use it commercially.
Do not leave the appliance unattended while
it is operating.
Do not use this appliance outdoors.
The appliance becomes hot during operation.
Therefore, be careful not to touch any of the
hot parts.
Over-heated fats and oils can ignite. Food
prepared with oils and fats (e.g. French
Fries) should always be prepared under
supervision.
Always disconnect the appliance from power
after use, before cleaning and in the event of
a malfunction.
As long as the appliance is hot, it should be
supervised, even if it is not connected to the
mains. Nor should it be transported with a
saucepan on the hot-plate – risk of getting
burned. Allow the appliance to cool down
fully before cleaning and storing it.
Do not pull directly on the power cord, rather
pull on the plug to disconnect the appliance
from the power source.
Do not collide with the nucleated glass plate.
In case of breaking, turn o the unit and
unplug from power.
The appliance is not a toy. Children should be
supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance.
Children do not realize the dangers which can
arise when working with electrical appliances.
Therefore, they should only be allowed to
use electrical appliances under supervision.
Special care should be taken in the presence
of children.
This appliance is not intended for use by
persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance
by a person responsible for their safety.
We are excluded of liability for all damages
that may arise if the appliance is used for
purposes other than originally intended or if
it is used inappropriately.
Repairs and other work undertaken on
the unit must only be done by authorised
specialist personnel!

PROTECTION
1. Over-heat protection:
If the temperature of the panel exceeds 650°C,
the units will stop automatically.
