9.1 Print operations

Basic printing method (Mac OS X)

1 Open the data in the application, and click [File]. Then click [Print] from the menu.

% If the menu is not available, click [Print].

The [Print] window appears.

2 Check that the desired printer name is selected in [Printer:].

% If the target printer is not selected, select it.

% If the printer does not appear, select the printer from [Print & Fax] or [Printer Setup Utility]. For de-

tails, refer to page 6-4.

% The [Print] window varies depending on the application software.

% You can also change the printer name. The following window shows an example where the printer

name is changed to "Printer Name".

3 Specify the print range and the number of copies to print.

% When the setting items are not displayed in OS X 10.5/10.6/10.7/10.8, click on the right side

of [Printer:].

4 Switch the setting window as necessary to change the printer driver settings.

% For PS Plug-in driver, when you select [bizhub PRESS 2250PPS] from the pane pop-up menu and

click [Set], the Printing Preferences screen appears. You can specify several settings on this screen.

% For PPD driver, when you change the pane pop-up menu, other setting screen for printer driver ap-

pears. You can specify several settings on this screen. For details, refer to page 13-2.

5 Click [Print].

The printing is started.
