Option Description
• Enable Thunderbolt Boot Support
• Always Allow Dell Dock
• Enable Thunderbolt (and PCIe behind TBT)
Pre-boot
Default Setting: Highlighted options are enabled.
USB PowerShare Allows you to configure the behavior of the USB
PowerShare feature. The option is disabled by
default.

Audio This field enables or disables the integrated audio
controller.

Default Setting: All the options are enabled.
Keyboard Illumination This field lets you choose the operating mode of
the keyboard illumination feature.

Keyboard Backlight Timeout on AC This feature defines the timeout value for the
keyboard backlight when AC adapter is plugged
into the system.
• 5 seconds (Default settings)

• Never
Keyboard Backlight Timeout on Battery This feature defines the timeout value for the
keyboard backlight when system is running only on
battery power.

Touchscreen This field controls whether the touchscreen is
enabled or disabled. The option is enabled by
default.
