4.5.15 Connecting an intelligent controller
(Smart Grid - SG)
As soon as the function is activated through the parameter
[SMART GRID] = 1 (see controller operating instructions), the
heat pump is switched to Stand-by, standard or a mode with
higher temperatures depending on the utility company signal.
To do this, the intelligent controller's potential-free switching
contacts SG1/SG2 must be connected to connector J8,
Smart Grid and EVU connection, on the RoCon BM2C printed
circuit board (see fig. 4-45).
As soon as the Smart Grid function is active, the HT/NT function
is automatically deactivated. The heat pump is operated differ-
ently depending on the value of the parameter [Mode SG] (see
controller operating instructions).
