8.4 Control and configuration of DIP switches
WARNING!
Touching live parts can result in an electric
shock and lead to potentially fatal injuries and
burns.
● Before beginning work on live parts,
disconnect all of the systems circuits
from the power supply (switch off external
main switch, disconnect fuse) and secure
against unintentional restart.

● De-energise the system.
● Check the DIP switch setting on the RoCon BM2C printed
circuit board of the Daikin Altherma M ECH

O, and adjust if
necessary (see fig. 8-5).
The factory setting must not be changed.
● Close the controller housing and restore the voltage supply.
DIP switch settings are not recognised until a brief inter-
ruption to the power supply.
8.5 Emergency operation
Emergency heating operation can be maintained if the electronic
controller settings are incorrect by activating the special "Manual
Operation" function on the controller (see controller operating
instructions).
If the 3-way valves are intact, the Daikin Altherma M ECH
2
O
switches to heating mode. The required inflow temperature can
be adjusted with the rotary switch.
