1. Input: input Speakon connector with driving signal for the X:SIDER 15 or the X:SUB
218 from the X:SIDER 15 AMP or X:SUB 218 AMP respectively.
NOTE: X:SIDER 15 AMP can only drive X:SIDER 15 speakers, X:SUB 218 AMP can drive
only X:SUB 218 woofers. To avoid erroneous connection of the X:SIDER 15 AMP to the
X:SUB218 or of the X:SUB 218 AMP to the X:SIDER 15, the Speakon connectors have
different dimensions.

1. POWER: Switches the power on/off.
2. Status LEDs for the L (low) and H (high) channels:
- Prot.: indicates that the either the L or the H channel internal amplifier switched to
protection mode due to a fault of the amplifier itself or of the connected speakers
(please call the technical support)
- Comp.: indicates activity of the compressor on either the L or the H channel. If the
signal passes over a safety threshold, the compressor guarantees a good quality play-
back without acoustic distortion, damping the appropriate signal frequencies. The sys-
tem operates in total safety. If the LED is constantly On, there is an excess of signal. In
this case, please reduce the incoming signal level.
- Sign.: flashes when signal is incoming.
- Temp.: indicates that the internal amplifier switched to protection mode due to
excessive heating. In this condition, the amplifier supplies half the normal
power. Please reduce the input signal to allow the restore of normal load condi-
tions.
3. Preset LED-lighting switches:
- Cluster: switch it on when the speaker is placed into a 3-array
- H.Pass: Hi-pass filter to be used when the same signal is also routed to a X:SUB 218.
- User: activates the User preset (to be configured with the D:SP Editor)
4. LEVEL: adjusts the input signal level.
5. In & Out RS-485 Etherconn: Etherconn connectors to connect to the digital network.
Connect every RS485 OUT to the RS485 IN input of the next speaker along the daisy
chain. The RS-485 IN of the first speaker in the array must be connected to the USB-
485 interface (D:SP INTERFACE) output.
6. OUT-BOX: Speakon connector to feed the X:SIDER with the driving signal. Do not at-
tempt to provide this signal to a X:SUB 218 woofer.
7. Input: XLR input for line signal.
8. Link: sends on output the same signal coming from INPUT connector. This allow the
cascade connection of different devices to the same sound source.
9. AC-IN: connects to the mains.
10. AC-OUT: easily connects another VERSE speaker to the mains. Do not exceed current
limits. Powercon cables cannot supply more than 16A and X:SIDER 15 AMP approxi-
mately draw 3A, hence the AC-OUT of a X:SIDER 15 AMP cannot supply more than 13A
total.
