Notes: You can boil water, heat it up to a temperature of

70 °С, 80 °С, 90 °С without further maintaining the tempera-

ture as follows: press the button , you will hear a sound

signal, the backlight of the touch buttons (7) will turn on.

Press the button Boil if you want to boil water, the button

70 if you want to heat the water up to 70 °С, the button 80 -

up to 80 °С, the button 90 - up to 90 °С respectively. After

pressing the buttons, the boiling or heating process will

start, you will see the backlight of the button , as well as

the Boil, 70, 80 or 90 buttons, depending on the selected

mode. After the end of the boiling/heating process, you

will hear a sound signal, the backlight of the Boil, 70, 80

or 90 button will turn off, and after 30 seconds the button

will be dimly lit.

You can also heat the water to the set temperature without

the temperature maintenance afterwards. For that, press the

button , you will hear a sound signal, the backlight of the

touch buttons (7) will turn on. Press the button Warm on the

display, use the «+»/«-» buttons to set the temperature in the

range from 40 to 100 °С with the step 5 °С. When the set tem-

perature is reached, you will hear a sound signal. Press the

button Warm to switch this mode off. The backlight of the

«+»/«-» buttons will switch off, and after 30 seconds the but-

ton will be dimly illuminated.

– After switching the kettle off, wait for 10-20 seconds,

then you can switch it on again for re-boiling.

– If you accidentally switch the kettle on, but the water level

appears to be below the minimal mark, the automatic

thermal switch will be on and the kettle will be switched

off automatically. In this case take the kettle from the

base (8), let it cool down for 10-15 minutes, then fill it

with water and switch it on, the kettle will operate in nor-

mal mode.

Note: In standby mode, all buttons except for the button

are disabled. When you press the button, you will hear a

sound signal, the backlight of the touch buttons (7) will turn

on, after which you can turn on boiling / heating / tempera-

ture maintenance mode.

Note: There is a cord storage (9) on the reverse side of the

base (8). Adjust the optimal power cord length by folding it

in a corresponding way.

CLEANING AND CARE

– Before cleaning disconnect the unit from the mains, pour

out water and let the kettle cool down.

– Wipe the outer surface of the kettle with a damp cloth or

a sponge. Use soft detergents to remove dirt; do not use

metal brushes and abrasive detergents.

– Do not immerse the kettle and stand in water or any other

liquids, and do not wash the kettle and stand under run-

ning water.

– Do not wash the kettle and the base in a dishwashing

machine.

Descaling

– Scale, appearing inside the kettle, influences the water

taste and disturbs the heat exchange between water and

the heating element.

– To remove scale, fill the kettle with water by about 75%

and then boil the water up. Fill the remaining quarter of

the flask with vinegar solution (6-9%) and leave the liq-

uid in the kettle overnight (for approximately 8 hours).

In the morning pour the vinegar mixture out of the kettle

and rinse the flask several times. To remove the remain-

ing vinegar and its smell, boil the kettle filled with ordinary

water once or twice.

– If necessary, repeat the cleaning cycle.

– You can use special detergents for electric kettles to

remove scale.

– Clean the kettle from scale regularly.

Attention! The warranty does not cover breakdown or mal-

functioning of the unit caused by uncleaned scale.

STORAGE

– Before taking the unit away for long storage, unplug it,

pour out water and let the unit cool down.

– Clean the kettle.

– Fix the power cord in the cord storage (9) on the base (8).

– Keep the unit out of reach of children and disabled per-

sons.

batteries (if included), do not discard the unit and the batter-

ies with usual household waste after the service life expira-

tion; apply to specialized centers for further recycling.

The waste generated during the disposal of the unit is sub-

ject to mandatory collection and consequent disposal in the

prescribed manner.

For further information about recycling of this product apply

to a local municipal administration, a disposal service or to

the shop where you purchased this product.

The manufacturer preserves the right to change design,

structure and specifications not affecting general princi-

ples of the unit operation without a preliminary notification

due to which insignificant differences between the manual

and product may be observed. If the user reveals such dif-

ferences, please report them via e-mail info@vitek.ru for

receipt of an updated manual.

Unit operating life is 3 years

Guarantee

Details regarding guarantee conditions can be obtained from

the dealer from whom the appliance was purchased. The bill

of sale or receipt must be produced when making any claim

under the terms of this guarantee.
