ENGINE DISASSEMBLY ENG 18 Remove Piston pin circlips J Piston pins 2 Pistons 3 NOTE _________________________________ Before removing the piston pin circlip cover crankcase with a clean rag to prevent the c clip from falling into the crankcase cavity Before removing the piston pin deburr the grooved and pin hole area If the piston groove is deburred and piston pin is still diffi to remove use the piston pin puller Put identification mark 4 on the each pis head for reference during reinstallation Piston pin puller 90890 01304 ACAUTION Do not use a hammer to drive the piston out ROTOR AND STARTER DRIVES NOTE With the engine mounted the AC magneto starter drives can be maintained by removing following part Engine guard 1 Remove Crankcase cover T left NOTE _________________________________ Working in a crisscross pattern loosen the b 1 4 turn each Remove them after all loosened 2 Remove Gasket Q crankcase cover Dowel pins 2 4 13
