ENGINE ASSEMBLY AND ADJUSTMENT ENG NOTE Make sure that each valve is installed in it nal place by reference to its embossed cation mark as follows Intake both sides 3LD middle 3LDExhaust 3LD Install the valve spring with larger pit facing upward 7 Smaller pitch 4 Install Valve cotters Q NOTE __________ ___________________ Install the valve cotters while compressing t valve spring with the valve spring compress Valve spring compresser 90890 04019 Attachment 90890 04114 5 Secure the valve cotter onto the valve s by tapping it lightly with a piece of wood NOTE Do not hit so much as to damage the valve 6 Apply Molybdenum disulfide motor oil onto outer surfaces of valve lift pads 4 53
