ZEROING
11
The riflescope features two zeroing methods -“one shot zeroing” and using
FREEZE function. Zeroing should be done at operating temperatures, by
following the order of these steps:
One shot zeroing:
Select option «Zeroing» in menu M2, press
the controller.
Rotate the controller to select option “---“ (new
distance) (see Pic.3).
Set a distance, at which you would like to zero
the riflescope (for example 200m): rotate the
controller to select value from 0 to 9; a cursor is
located above the active parameter. To move
the cursor to the next digit, press the controller.
Press and hold the controller to go to the
zeroing display.
The following appears on the display: a red
auxiliary cross , horizontal arrows and
coordinates of the auxiliary cross
(Pic.4).
Please keep the reticle permanently on the
target's centre when moving the auxiliary cross.
Exit the menu «Zeroing» with a long press of
the controller button. Message OK confirms
successful operation. The reticle will now move
to the point of impact.
Note: the auxiliary cross moves only within the limiting frame (see pic.) that
defines its travel range: 80 clicks horizontally (+40/-40) and 100 clicks
vertically (+50/-50).
If you notice that the point of impact is beyond the limiting frame, make sure
that:
The mount on your weapon is correctly installed.
The optical axis of the riflescope is not too high relative to the optical axis of
the rifle's barrel.
The mounting rail on your weapon does not have a longitudinal inclination.
Attention! Do not turn off the riflescope before zeroing settings are
saved, otherwise your settings will be lost.
Take another shot - the point of impact should now match the aiming point.
Note: zeroing parameters (coordinates X; Y) are saved in the riflescope's
memory as Profile “A” (menu option “Weapon choice”, menu M1). If you
wish to zero in the riflescope using another weapon or another distance,
select first Profile “B” or “C” (further details are in the “Weapon choice”
section).
Mount the rifle with the riflescope installed on a bench rest.
Set a target at a distance of about 100m.
Adjust the riescope according to the instructions of Section 10
“OPERATION”.
Aim the firearm at the target centre and take a shot.
If the point of impact did not match the aiming point, press and hold the
controller button (9) to enter menu.
Rotate the controller to move the auxiliary cross horizontally or vertically
relative to the reticle until the auxiliary cross matches the point of impact
(Pic. 5).
