Secure Device Server User Manual

Click Save for the changes to take effect.
Optionally click Save & Apply All to apply the same settings to all of the
Secure Device Server’s serial ports.
Port Buffering
Port buffering creates a log of the activities conducted when a port is accessed.
You can save the log to the internal memory of the Secure Device Server, for
up to 128 KB, or a Syslog server.
To enable Port Buffering, select Memory or Syslog Server from the drop-
down list in the Port Buffering tab. Optionally check Time Stamps to add time
stamps to the logs created.
Click Save for the changes to take effect.
Terminator Enable this setting to prevent reflections of RS-485 signals
and data corruption.
Pull high/low resistor Configure the pull high/low resistors correctly to for an RS-485
connection.
