Remote Controller Status LED
The Status LED reflects connection status between remote control and aircraft. The RTH LED shows the return to
home status of the aircraft. The table below contains details on these indicators.

The remote controller is functioning normally but is not connected with the
aircraft.

The remote controller is functioning normally and is connected with the aircraft.
Slow Blinking

Sending Return to Home command to the aircraft.

Aircraft is returning home.
The Remote Controller Power LEDs will blink red, sound an alert, and then automatically power off
after 3 seconds when the battery level is critically low. If this occurs during flight, your Inspire 1 will
enter Failsafe Mode and Return to Home, which cannot be interrupted.
Linking the Remote Controller
The remote controller is linked to your aircraft before delivery. Linking is only required when using a new remote
controller for the first time. Follow these steps to link a new remote controller:
1. Ensure both the remote controller and aircraft are powered off.
2. Power on the aircraft. Locate the Linking Button on the front of the aircraft, as shown in the figure below. The
adjacent LED will blink red when linking is required.
