usage of the unit.
• From time to time check the power cord and
the power plug integrity.
• If the power cord is damaged, it should be
replaced by the manufacturer, service or
other qualified personnel to avoid danger.
• Do not use the unit if the coffee maker body
is damaged.
• Do not repair the unit by yourself. Do not dis-
assemble the unit by yourself, if any mal-
function is detected or after it was dropped,
unplug the unit and apply to any authorized
service center at the contact address list,
given in the warranty certificate and on the
website www.vitek.ru.
• Transport the unit in the original package only.
• Keep the unit in a dry cool place out of reach
of children and disabled persons.
THE UNIT IS INTENDED FOR HOUSEHOLD USE
ONLY, ITS COMMERCIAL USAGE AND USAGE IN
PRODUCTION AREAS AND WORK SPACES IS
PROHIBITED.
BEFORE THE FIRST USE
After unit transportation or storage at low
temperature, keep it for at least three hours
at room temperature.
– Take the coffee maker out of the package and
remove the packaging materials.
– Check the unit for damages; in case of dam-
ages do not use the unit.
– Make sure that the operating voltage of the
unit corresponds to the voltage of your mains.
– The unit is intended for operation with AC sys-
tem and 50 or 60 Hz frequency. The unit does
not need any additional settings for operating
with the required nominal frequency.
– Before using the coffee maker for the first
time, wash all removable parts (8, 15, 16, 17,
19) with warm water and neutral detergent
and dry thoroughly.
BEFORE USING THE UNIT
Notes:
– if you switched the coffee maker on and
don’t do anything, the coffee maker would be
switched off in 30 minutes.
– if you don’t make coffee for some period of
time, the water warming mode will switch on
again, the buttons (4, 5) illumination will be
flashing. When the water in the boiler heats up
to the preset temperature, you will hear sound
signals and the buttons (4, 5) illumination will
be glowing constantly.
Before making coffee wash the coffee maker
boiler.
• Remove the water tank (8), fill it with cold
water up to the «MAX» mark and install it back
to its place (pic. 1).
• Insert the coffee filter (15 or 16) into the
holder (17), do not add ground coffee in the
filter (15 or 16).
• Install the filter holder (17) back to its installa-
tion place. The filter holder (17) ledges should
match the groves on the boiler «INSERT»,
after that turn the filter holder (17) handle to
the utmost right position «CLOSE» (pic. 2).
• Place a suitable cup on the tray grid (6).
• Insert the power plug into the socket.
• Switch the coffee maker on by setting the
power switch to the position «I», you will hear
sound signals and the buttons (4, 5) illumina-
tion will start flashing.
• Wait until the water in the boiler heats up, you
will hear sound signals and the buttons (4, 5)
illumination will be glowing constantly.
• Press and hold the button (5) « » for 3 sec-
onds, the pump will switch on and the water
will be supplied in small amounts. After the
cup is filled with water, switch the water sup-
ply off by pressing the button (5) « » again,
pour the water out of the cup.
• Depending on the cup capacity repeat this
procedure several times until the boiler is
clean.
ATTENTION!
– Do not remove the filter holder (17) during
coffee maker operation.
– To remove the filter holder (17) turn the fil-
ter holder handle to the utmost left position
«INSERT» and remove the holder (17).
Washing the cappuccinator pipe (11)
• Make sure that there is enough water in the
water tank (8).
• Place a suitable cup under the cappuccinator
pipe (11) tip (12).
• Switch the coffee maker on, setting the power
switch to the position «I».
