Alarm LED
An ALM (alarm) LED lights when the VOP is overheated, or the voltage readings
are outside the tolerance levels.
1.4 VoIP Features
IEEE 802.1Q Tagged VLAN
Your VOP uses the IEEE 802.1Q Tagged VLAN (Virtual Local Area Network), which
allows it to deliver tagged/untagged frames. The VOP supports up to 16 individual
VLANs.
Quality of Service (QoS)
The VOP supports IEEE 802.1p QoS (Quality of Service) network traffic
prioritization for SIP and RTP traffic.
SIP Keep Alive
The VOP supports SIP session keep alive, as defined in RFC-4028.
Voice Compression and Decompression
The VOP supports the following voice codecs.
•G.711 A-law
•G.711 µ-law
G.723.1
G.726 (40, 32, 24 and 16 kbps)
•G.729AB
Out-of-Band POTS Signaling
As well as transmitting and receiving voice band data, FXS and FXO can
communicate using out-of-band signals.
