config dhcp_relay port

Purpose

To enable or disable the ports of DHCP Relay server.

Syntax

config dhcp_relay port <portlist> state [enable | disable]

Description

The config dhcp_relay port command is used to enable or disable

the ports of DHCP Relay server.

Parameters

<portlist> − Specifies the ports to be configured.

state [enable | disable] – Specifies the ports of DHCP Relay server

to be enabled or disabled.

Restrictions

Only Administrator, operator or power user-level users can issue this

command.

Example usage:

To enable ports 1-4 of DHCP Relay server:

DGS-1210-28P/ME:5# config dhcp_relay port 1-4 state enable

Command: config dhcp_relay port 1-4 state enable

Success.

config dhcp_relay add ipif System

Purpose

To define a DHCP server as a DHCP Relay server.

Syntax

config dhcp_relay add ipif System <ipaddr>

Description

The config dhcp_relay add ipif System command adds DHCP

servers as DHCP Relay servers.

Parameters

<ipaddr> − The IP address of the DHCP server. Up to 4 servers can

be defined.

Restrictions

Only Administrator, operator or power user-level users can issue this

command.

Example usage:

To add a DHCP server as a DHCP Relay server:

DGS-1210-28P/ME:5# config dhcp_relay add ipif System 10.6.150.49

Command: config dhcp_relay add ipif System 10.6.150.49

Success.
