auto − Enables auto-negotiation for the specified range of
ports.
[10 | 100 | 1000] − Configures the speed in Mbps for the
specified range of ports.
[half | full] − Configures the specified range of ports as either
full or half-duplex.
Restrictions
Only administrator or operate-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To configure the speed of ports 1-3 to be 100 Mbps, full duplex, learning and state enabled:
DGS-1210-28P/ME:5# config ports 1-3 medium_type copper speed 100_full
learning enable state enable
Command: config ports 1-3 medium_type copper speed 100_full learning enable
state enable
Success.

show ports
Purpose
To display the current configuration of a range of ports.
Syntax
show ports {<portlist> | all} {description | err_disabled |
linkup_time | auto_negotiation}
Description
The show ports command displays the current configuration of a
port or range of ports.
Parameters
<portlist> − A port or range of ports whose settings are to be
displayed.
all – Specifies all ports to be displayed.
linkup_time – Specifies to display the linkup time information of
specified ports.
auto_negotiation – Specifies to display the port auto-negotiation
information.
Restrictions
None.
Example usage:
To display the configuration of port 8 on the Switch:
DGS-1210-28P/ME:5# show ports 8
Command: show ports 8
Port State/ Settings Connection Address
Type MDI Speed/Duplex/FlowCtrl Speed/Duplex/FlowCtrl Learning
