USE
• Mow only in daylight or in well illuminated places.
• Avoid mowing wet grass.
• When standing on a sloped terrain always ensure you stand firmly
on the ground.
• Walk, never run.
• Mow only crosswise a slope, never up or down.
• Be very careful when changing direction of mowing.
• Switch off the motor when carrying the grass trimmer.
• Do not use the grass trimmer with damaged guards, casings or
without attached guards.
• Ensure your feet are away from cutting string and switch on the
motor as described in the manual.
• Do not tilt the grass trimmer when switching on.
• Never install metal cutting parts.
• Be careful not to cut yourself with the device for cutting string
length adjustment.
• Ensure the ventilation holes are free from obstructions.
• Ensure you hold the grass trimmer firmly with both ha nds before
starting up the tool.
• Never keep your hands or feet close to rotating parts.
• Pull the plug out of the socket:
– every time you walk away from the tool;
– before the tool is inspected, cleaned or repaired;
– after the tool is hit with another object – ensure the tool is not
damaged;
– when the tool starts to vibrate excessively;
• The grass trimmer should be repaired by
authorised people only.
• Only spare parts recommended by the manufacturer should be
used.
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
• All components should be kept in the proper condition to be sure
the grass trimmer will operate safely.
• Worn or damaged parts should be replaced to maintain safety.
• The grass trimmer should be protected against moisture.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Use cutting strings of the proper type.
NOTE: Despite using the construction, which is safe by design
itself, protection means and additional safety features, there is
always a residual risk of injuries during operation.

The grass trimmer is a hand-held electric device with insulation class
II. It is driven by single-pha se AC commutator motor. Such tools are
designed for tasks in home ga rden. The grass trimmer is designed for
trimming grass in corners and edges of lawns and flowerbeds. The
grass trimmer is a tool intended for amateur use only.
The device should be used according to its purpose.
