D Transmitting a Polling Request Call
Transmit a Polling Request Call when you want to know if a
specifi c vessel is within communication range.
q Enter “2QNNKPI4GSWGUV” in the DSC menu.

w Rotate [SELECTOR] to select the desired pre-pro-
grammed individual address or “/CPWCN+PRWV,” then
push [ENT].
• The ID code can be set fi rst. (p. 16)
• When “/CPWCN+PRWV” is selected, push the keypad keys to
set the 9 digit MMSI number for the individual you wish to call.
