5. Release the locking button.
The right table side extension is
locked
in place in the minimum
width.
6. Underside of the machine: press the
O-ring back into the groove from
which it was removed in step 2.
7. For additional stability: adjust the
regulating screw (69) such that it
contacts the support surface.
8. Carry out the analogous steps 1 to
7 to install the left table side exten-
sion.
Setting the desired table width
The table side extension can be locked
in several positions. To move the table
side extension from one preset stop to
the next:
1. Press and hold down the locking
button.
2. Slide the table side extension ap-
prox. 5mm outwards.
3. Release the locking button.
4. Slowly slide the table side extension
fu
rther outwards until it snaps into
the next preset stop position.
3 Note:
The table side extension can be moved
b
ack in without the locking button being
depressed.
4.3 Mounting the cutting
depth limiter
Together with the track arm, the cutting
depth limiter makes grooving possible.
Mount the screw (71) and nut (70)
as illustrated.
4.4 Transport
1. Move the cutting depth limiter to the
outer position (72).
2. Swivel the sawhead down and lock
th
e transport lock (66).
3. Dismount all add-on parts projecting
from th
e machine.
4. Slide movable fence halves togeth-
er and lock in place.
5. Slide table side extension back into
the
saw table.
6. Lift the machine at two of the desig-
nated positions (arrows).

Cutting angle range for bevel cuts of

pprox. 46° (left) to approx. 46°
(right) with seven preset stops.
KGS / 254 / Plus:
Cutting angle range for bevel cuts of

approx. 46° (left) to approx. 55°

6.1 Installing the dust extrac-
tion adapter
ADanger!
Some types of wood dust (e.g. oak,
be
ech and ash) may cause cancer
when inhaled.
Only work with a suitable dust col-
lector.
Also use a dust mask as not all of
the sawd
ust is collected and ex-
tracted.
Perform regular checks to ensure
correct functioning of your dust col-
lector. Wear a dust mask when
e
mptying the chip bag.
Push the dust extraction adapter
(73) on as illustrated.
Alternatively:
Mount the dust extraction attach-
ment (74) as illustrated above.
The connection of different dust collec-
tors is shown in the illustrations at the
end of these operating instructions.
