Checking the engine start button,
engine start switch and engine stop
lanyard switch
1. Check that the engine starts when the
engine start button is pushed to START.
(WH, WC)
2. Check that the engine starts when the
engine start switch is turned to START.

3. Check that the engine turns off when the
engine start switch is turned to OFF.

4. Check that the choke solenoid operates
when the engine start switch is pushed

Checking the gear shift and throttle
operation
1. Check that the gear shift operates
smoothly when the shift lever or remote
control lever is shifted from “N” to “F” or
“R” position.
2. Check that the throttle operates smoothly
when the throttle grip (tiller handle model)
is turned from the fully-closed position to
the fully-opened position a.
