5.5. User Edit mode
Hold the User mode button for 1 second to enter User Edit mode. The display will then ask
you to move the item you want to edit, such as
a fader, an encoder, or one of the Select buttons
one of the DAW Commands / User buttons
a pad
a pedal
one of the wheels
a key on the keyboard
a voltage received at the CV In connector
Once you have activated the item to be edited, turn the center knob and the lower line of the
display will show you which parameters are available for that control.
When you see the parameter you want to edit, click the center knob to enter the value field
and then turn the knob to change the value for that parameter. Click the knob again to jump
back to the parameter selection field.
5.5.1. Select a control for editing
There are two main ways to select another control for editing:
Move that control, or
Use the the Left / Right arrow buttons to select controls that are nearby.
5.5.1.1. Selecting the CV controls
In some cases you need to use a combination of the control selection procedures described
above. For example, here's how to select the following items:
CV Mod Input: Press Select button 9, then press the right arrow once
CV Pitch/Gate/Mod Outputs: Activate the Aux 3 pedal, then press the right arrow
once.
However you do it, once the new control has been selected simply use the center knob to
select one of its parameters. Then click the knob to edit the value for that parameter.
: The keys in the upper octave of the keyboard can be used in User Edit mode as shortcuts [p.49] to
different parameter groups and other functions.
All of the User Edit mode parameters are also available in the MIDI Control Center [p.62].
: Remember to save your edits [p.53] frequently.
