Service Parts Disassembly
Main Drive Motor
PL6.1.2
Caution
The gears of the Main Drive Assembly are not captive to the cover. Use care
when removing the cover to maintain correct gear orientation.
1. Remove the Main Tray (page 4-13).
2. Remove the Front Cover (page 4-15).
3. Remove the Left Cover (page 4-16).
4. Remove the Top Cover (page 4-7).
5. Remove the Main Drive Assembly (page 4-40).
6. Disconnect P/J10, P/J13 and P/J23 from the MCU Board
7. Remove the 2 screws (silver, metal, 6 mm), and 3 screws (silver, tap, 8mm) that
secure the Main Drive Motor to the chassis.
