This chapter describes how to configure the advanced features of your 54 Mbps Wireless ADSL
Modem Router Model DG834G.
Configuring Advanced Security
The 54 Mbps Wireless ADSL Modem Router Model DG834G provides a variety of advanced
features, such as:
• Setting up a Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) Server
• Connecting Automatically, as Required
• Disabling Port Scan and DOS Protection
• Responding to a Ping on the Internet WAN Port
•MTU Size
• Flexibility on configuring your LAN TCP/IP settings
• Using the Router as a DHCP Server
• Configuring Dynamic DNS
• Configuring Static Routes
