BRUSHING OR GRINDING WHEEL REPLACEMENT

Check the grinding wheel or brush before replacement, do not use brushes and wheels with dents,

cracks, excessively worn or otherwise damaged.

Disconnect the power tool from power supply.

Ensure that new grinding wheel or brush is characterized by maximal rotation

al speed equal to 2850 rpm or

more. Notice that the nut of the left grinding wheel is left-hand threaded and it must be turned clockwise

to unscrew. Nut of the right grinding wheel is right-hand threaded and it must be turned counter-clockwise

to unscrew.

Ɣ Unscrew three ﬁxing screws and remove appropriate disc cover (4) (g. G).

Ɣ Hold the wheel or brush ﬁrmly (wear protective gloves to protect your hands).

Ɣ Unscrew the nut that ﬁxes the grinding wheel and the outer ﬂange (g. H and I).

Ɣ Remove worn out or damaged brushing or grinding wheel (g. K).

Ɣ Install new grinding wheel or brush onto the shaft and ensure that there is a washer between the wheel

and ﬂange on each side, and that the wheel or brush is slide ﬁtted, not clearance ﬁtted.

Ɣ Screw the nut that ﬁxes the wheel back on its place.

Ɣ Hold brushing or grinding wheels when tightening the nuts.

Ɣ Be careful not to damage the shaft thread due to applying excessive torque.

Ɣ Install wheel cover (4) and ﬁx it with three screws.

Ɣ Adjust setting of the workrest and eye shield.

Ɣ Turn the wheel by hand to ensure it is free to rotate.

Ɣ Connect the grinder to mains socket, stand aside, switch on the grinder and allow it to work at full speed

for few minutes.

LIGHT BULB REPLACEMENT

Do not apply excessive force when removing or installing light bulb, it may cause it to break and cut you. In

the working lamp of the grinder (11) there is a 12V/10W light bulb (car type).

Ɣ Unscrew and remove the light bulb screen (g. L).

Ɣ Carefully press the used light bulb in the socket and turn it left, then remove (g. M).

Ɣ Carefully press new light bulb in the socket and turn it right until it is ﬁxed in appropriate position.

Ɣ Reinstall the light bulb screen.

GREASING

In this grinder, ball bearings ﬁlled with grease for the whole working period are used and the tool does not

require any additional greasing. If the wheels do not rotate freely, the bearings should be replaced in an

authorized service workshop.

CLEANING

Never use any caustic agents, or cleaning agents based on petrol or alcohol. Protect the grinder

against moisture.

Ɣ Keep outer surfaces of the grinder clean, remove dust from places where the dirt accumulates with brush

or compressed air.

Ɣ Wipe shields and body with damp, soft cloth. You can also use delicate detergent.

Ɣ Wipe eye shields with damp soft cloth, be careful not to scratch them. You can also use delicate

detergent.
