3.5 Turning the Printer On and Off

4 When the system has finished shutting down,

“Safe to power off the system” appears.

5 Set the power switch of the printer controller to “ ” to turn off the printer

controller.

6 Set the power switch of the machine to “ ” to turn off the machine.



Note

Do not turn off the printer while it is printing, otherwise a paper misfeed may

occur. Make sure that all print operations are finished before turning off the

printer.



Note

If the printer is not used for a while, it automatically enters Energy Saver mode.

The printer will automatically start warming up as soon as it receives a print job,

or when any cover is opened, then closed.
