11. Turn the knob (1) clockwise (in the direction of the arrow) to wind up the ribbon.
12. Hold (1) and lift the paper feed guide (2) and slide it along the rails in the direction
indicated by the arrows until it locks back into position.
13. Close the printer Top Cover.
14. Set the Paper Thickness lever to match the paper being used. (See “Setting the
Paper Thickness lever” on page 22.)
15. Set the printer Power Switch to ON.
CAUTION!
> Do not turn the knob anticlockwise as the ribbon might jam.
> Make sure that the ribbon is not twisted or damaged when it goes
through the gap between the Print Head and the ribbon guide.
