Viewing CP Activation and Activity Status
The CP Activation and Activity Status page provides information about each CP configured on the switch.

Field Description
CP Global Operational
Status
Shows whether the CP feature is enabled. The default is disabled.
CP Global Disable
Reason
If CP is disabled, this field indicates the reason for the CP to be disabled, which can be one
of the following:
None – CP is enabled
Administrator Disabled
No IPv4 Address
Routing Enabled, but no IPv4 routing interface
The default is Administrator Disabled.
This field does not appear if the CP operational status is Enabled.
CP IP Address Shows the captive portal IP address.
Authenticated Users Shows the number of users currently authenticated to all captive portal instances on this
switch. For the WIDS Controller, the number includes users authenticated on all switches in
the peer group. The range is an integer. The default is 0.
System Supported
Users
Shows the number of authenticated users that the system can support. This is a platform-
defined constant. The range is an integer. The default is 128.
Configured Captive
Portals
Shows the number of captive portal instances that have been administratively configured. The
range is an integer. The default is 0.
Supported Captive
Portals
Shows the number of supported captive portals in the system. This is a platform-defined
constant. The range is an integer. The default is 10.
Active Captive Portals Shows the number of captive portal instances that are operationally enabled. The range is an
integer. The default is 0.
Configured Local Users The number of users currently configured in the local database. The default is 0. See
“Configuring Users in the Local Database” on page 178.
