1. Installation and operation
Electrical connection, see section 8. Wiring diagram.
Adjustment of float switch, see installation and oper-
ating instructions for the pump.
2. General description
The control box consists of cables and a cabinet
containing various parts for control of the pump con-
nected.
* There are two types of cable: One for Unilift AP12,
AP35 and AP50 and another for Unilift AP35B og
AP50B.
3. Applications
The control box is designed for the protection and
start/stop of three-phase pumps, types:
• Unilift AP12
• Unilift AP35
• Unilift AP50
• Unilift AP35B
• Unilift AP50B.
4. Function
The control box incorporates a three-phase contac-
tor with thermal relay. The contactor is cut in and out
by a float switch, and thus starts and stops the pump.
When the contact in the float switch is closed, the
contactor operates and the pump starts. See also
section 7. Functional sketch.
5. Push buttons
The control box has two push buttons, one for star-
ting the pump and one for stopping the pump/reset-
ting the thermal relay.
The buttons are marked:

If the thermal relay has tripped out, it can be reset by
briefly pressing the button "O".

6. Service
No service parts are available for the control box.
Before beginning installation procedures,
these installation and operating instruc-
tions should be studied carefully. The
installation and operation should be in
accordance with local regulations and
accepted codes of good practice.
