• Check the riving knife to see that the
distance riving knife – saw blade is
between 3
mm and 8 mm.
Monthly (if used daily)
• Check the drive belt condition and
tension, correct if necessary.
Every 300 hours of operation
• Check all nuts, bolts and screws for
proper fit and tightness and tighten
where necessary.
• Check lateral play of sawhead,
adjust by tightening nut (75) if nec-
essary.
• Check if the sawhead assembly
returns to its starting position after
being released; if necessary,
replace the springs.
• Check function of retractable blade
guard.
− For long work pieces use suitable
supports on both sides of the
machine.
− Use auxiliary fence when sawing
small cut-offs (this may be a suitable
board, fastened with four screws to
the fence).
− When cutting warped or bent work
pieces, make sure that you place
the work piece so that the convex
side (i.e. the outer side of the bow)
is against the fence.
− Do not cut any work piece while it is
standing on edge; always place it
flat on the rotating table.
− Keep the supporting surfaces clean
– in particular, remove resin residue
with a suitable cleaning and mainte
-
nance spray.

A Dust Spout Adaptor
To connect the dust collection
attachment to a dust collector.
B Work Clamp
Required for precision cuts and cut-
ting of non-ferrous metals.
C Table Extension, left side
Recommended for cutting long
workpieces;
it extents to 3000 mm
and can be folded for easy and
space saving storage.
D Table Extension, right side
Recommended for cutting long
workpieces;
it extents to 3000 mm
and can be folded for easy and
space saving storage.
E Workstand
To place the machine on sturdy
support and have it positioned at a
convenient and ergonomic height;
it can be folded and is ideal for
mobile use.
F Auxiliary fence
for cutting small sections.

Repairs to electric tools must

Electric tools in need of repair can be
sent to the service centre of your coun

try. Refer to the spare parts list for the
address.
Please attach a description of the fault to
the electric tool.
The machine's packaging material is
100% recyclable.
Worn out power tools and accessories
contain considerable amounts of valua-
ble raw and rubber materials, which can
be recycled.
These instructions are printed on paper
produced with elemental chlorine-free
bleaching process.
This section describes problems and
malfunctions which you should be able
to resolve yourself. If the measures
described here do not solve your prob

lem, please refer to "Repairs".

Danger!
Many accidents happen partic-
ularly in connection with problems
and malfunctions. Therefore please
note:
• Always unplug before servicing.
• Check that all safety devices are
operational again after each fault
service.
Motor does not run
No power
• Check cables, plug, outlet and
mains fuse.
No crosscut function
Transport lock engaged:
• Unlock the transport lock.
Safety lock engaged:
• Actuate the safety lock.
Machine lacks power
The saw blade is blunt and worn (possi-
bly has heat marks from overheating):
The saw blade is not suitable for mate-
rial you are cutting (see chapter "Techni-
cal Specifications");
Saw blade warped:
• Replace the saw blade (see chapter
"Maintenance").
Saw vibrates heavily
Saw blade warped:
• Replace the saw blade (see chapter
"Maintenance").
Saw blade incorrectly mounted:
• Remove the saw blade and then
mount it again correctly (see chapter
"Maintenance").
Saw squeals when starting
The drive belt is loose:
• Tighten the drive belt (see chapter
"Maintenance - Drive belt tension
-
ing").
Rotating table does not move at all or
is hard to turn
Saw dust has built up under the rotating
table:
• Remove the saw dust.
