Chapter 7. Port Access

Control Panel Functions
The Control Panel functions are described in the table below and the sections
that follow.
Icon Function
Pins / unpins the Control Panel to appear Always On Top or Auto
Hide mode.
Copies the selected text on the screen.
Copies all text displayed on the screen.
Pastes the copied text.
Toggles Logging on / Logging off. This starts a log file of characters
sent from the serial device to the SNViewer. You must first create
and import a text-based log file (see Logs, page 53).
Browses for data files to import (see Data Import, page 72).
Changes the page encoding (see Encode, page 72).
Resets the terminal to its default settings.
Changes the font, color and other display settings of the SNViewer
(see Terminal Settings, page 72).
Adjusts the width of the SNViewer window.
Exits the viewer.
