PREPARATION FOR OPERATION
CHANGE OF CUT DIRECTION
It is possible to set die holder (4) in four dierent positions rotated by 90°.
Ɣ Loosen the die holder xing nut (3) enough to rotate the die holder (4) (g. A).
Ɣ Rotate the die holder (4) clockwise or counter-clockwise by 90° around power tool axis. Make sure the
protrusion in die holder (4) ts well in the gear casing hole.
Ɣ Tighten the die holder xing nut (3).
MAXIMUM CUTTING THICKNESS
Maximum cutting thickness depends on processed material hardness.
This power tool allows for straight and deformation free cutting of sheets with following gauges:
Type of material Max sheet gauge
Steel 400 N/mm
2
1.6 mm
600 N/mm
2
1.2 mm
800 N/mm
2
0.8 mm
Aluminium 200 N/mm
2
2.5 mm
SETTING A GAP BETWEEN DIE AND PUNCH
It is necessary to set correct gap between die and punch depending on the metal sheet gauge.
Ɣ Unscrew the die holder xing nut (3) and remove the die holder (4) from the gear casing.
Ɣ Remove unnecessary distance washers (g. B).
Ɣ Fix the die holder (4) in the gear casing.
Die holder must be fully inserted and matched with one of four protrusions.
