Calibrating Thermocouple mV Input

Connect the UUT as shown in Figure 34.

After making the proper connections, type “11” for 726/725 or “9” for 724, and then press

the Enter key on the PC keyboard. Input directions are displayed at the bottom of the

calibration menu:

Enter Selection:

Input –10mV, Press Enter When Stable

Input 90mV, Press Enter When Stable

Use the 5520A to input –10 mV and then 90 mV.

Note

A 725 with V3.0 prompts for 75 mV, but 90 mV should be applied. V3.1

shows the correct 90 mV applied.
