Slacken off locknut on adjusting screw.
Slacken
offthe
adjusting screw (arrow) by one
ortwo
complete turns, then retighten slowly until the pressure
point is feit. Lock the adjusting screw in this position with
the locknut.
After adjusting to the basic setting, adjust clutch lever play
with the adjusting screw to dimension
"A"
and lock with
the knurled nut.
Important:
Take up excessive clearance
caused
by
wear
only
at
the
adjusting
screw
on
the withdrawal arm.

Clutch
thrust bearing -
removing
Remove the silencer (see Group 18).
Disconnectthe clutch cable
atthe
withdrawal arm (arrow).
Release the clamp (arrow) at the sealing bushing and
take
offthe
bushing with spring.
Take
outthe
thrust piston with pliers.
Take
outthe
ball bearing.
