52 Field Piping and Wiring
Observe the notes mentioned below when wiring to the terminals.
Tightening torque for the terminal screws.
•
Use the correct screwdriver for tightening the terminal screws. If the blade of screwdriver is
too small, the head of the screw might be damaged, and the screw will not be properly
tightened.
•
If the terminal screws are tightened too hard, screws might be damaged.
•
Refer to the table below for the tightening torque of the terminal screws.
Precautions to be taken for power supply wiring
Use a round crimp-style terminal for connection to the power supply terminal block.
In case it cannot be used due to unavoidable reasons, be sure to observe the following
instructions. (Refer to Fig. 30)
•
Do not connect wires of different gauge to the same power supply terminal. (Looseness in
the connection may cause overheating.) (Refer to Fig. 31)
•
When connecting wires of the same gauge, connect them according to. (Refer to Fig. 31)
•
In wiring, make certain that prescribed wires are used, carry out complete connections, and
fix the wires so that external forces are not applied to the terminals.
