CLUTCH GEARSHIFT LINKAGE Remove the water pump driven sprocket and drive chain INSTALLATION Apply molybdenum oil solution to the water pump driven sprocket shaft Install the water pump drive chain over the drive arid driven sprockets Install the driven sprocket shaft into the crankcase Install the damper springs into the primary drive gear grooves Install the friction spring onto the primary drive gear with the concaved side toward the sub gear Apply molybdenum disulfide grease to the primary drive gear and sub gear sliding surfaces Install the sub year onto the primary drive gear boss so that the sub gear tabs are positioned against the damper spring and holes are aligned Install the primary drive gear assembly and ignition pulse generator rotor by aligning the wide grooves with the wide tooth Apply oil to the threads and seating surface of the primary drive gear bolt Install the special washer and primary drive gear bolt Install the clutch outer page 9 17 Install the special tool between the primary drive and driven gears as shown and tighten the primary drive gear bolt TOOL Gear holder 07724 0010100 TORQUE 88 N m 9 0 kgf m 65 IbLfl Assemble the clutch page 9 17
