Select the appropriate login method to access ﬁles for download:

· Account – If the download site employs restricted access,

check this button and enter in the User Name and Password in the

appropriate ﬁelds provided below this button.

· Anonymous – Click this button if this job is a local (drive/

PC to drive) backup or the download site does not require any login

information.

Enter a valid URL to the remote location from which you wish to

initiate a ﬁle or folder transfer.

To initiate a remote FTP or HTTP ﬁle or folder transfer, refer to the

following examples of valid URL formats:

· ftp://123.45.67.89/Test (for a folder transfer)

ftp://123.45.67.89/Test/hello.txt (for a single ﬁle transfer)

· http://www.abc123.org/test.txt (transfer a ﬁle from an

HTTP site)

To initiate a transfer of a shared ﬁle or folder from a networked PC,

refer to the following example of the valid URL format.

· \\192.168.0.100\Test.txt

The PC’s internal IP address must be known and be accessible to

the DSM-G600 on the network.
